Does this page reference the right piece? The composition names mentioned (oben und unten, Litanie, Ankunft, etc.) dont appear to be so named on the cd's.

Yes, it references the right collection of fifteen pieces. "Oben und Unten", the theatre piece that stands at the center of the collection, has never been recorded, and has had a performance history that may be charitably described as "troubled". "Litanei" and "Ankunft" are not performing instructions as such, though Stockhausen has said that these texts can be recited by a speaking choir, and he has made a performing version of the former, under the title "Litanei 97", which has been recorded on CD61 in the Stockhausen Complete Edition. (The late pianist Elisabeth Klein also made a recording purporting to be "Litanei", on Classico CLASSCD 269, "mostly inspired by the last 5 lines from the second stanza". However, this is actually a collage of bits from the Klavierstücke, and certainly does not represent the composer's intentions.) I don't know which CDs you happen to be looking at, but the remaining titles all appear on the Complete Edition CD14 boxed set, three of them in two versions each. If it is this set to which you refer, and you have the edition with the booklet in English, then the titles have been translated on p. 1, but appear in bot German and English on subsequent pages ("Richtige Dauern" = "Right Durations", etc.). If, on the other hand, you have the Harmonia Mundi France single CD with just two of the pieces on it, the titles there are given in French translation: "Fais voile vers le soleil" = "Setz die Segel zur Sonne" = "Set Sail for the Sun", and "Liaison" = "Verbindung" = "Connection".--Jerome Kohl 20:20, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Having now actually looked at the article, I can see from where the uncertainly stems. I have now added a list of titles of the fifteen pieces, which I had mistakenly assumed was already there.--Jerome Kohl 23:37, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
